The Grace Spitfire Airborne Again

After sustaining a minor taxiing incident on the 7th of June 2008 at Old Warden and following the completion of nearly six days of intensive work, the Grace Spitfire was once again declared fully serviceable by her talented engineering team. Carolyn Grace flew ML407 out of Old Warden on Saturday 14th June at 14.00 hrs. This has been a truly impressive team effort, with the machine now appropriately proven and indeed carrying out its summer display commitments.

Heathrow Flight Briefing Unit

Following the move of the Heathrow Flight Briefing Unit form the Old Control Tower to the New Control Tower in April last year, some pilots are still using the old contact numbers to file Flight Plans etc.

The new contact numbers are as follows:
